Nestled away at the top of Angel, over looking Upper Street hides an exclusive gem. An intimate little venue that has been created with a near west end image, and still has the relaxed atmosphere that an N1 venue should.

The Chapel bar is a 280 capacity, split level venue with a large, newly redecorated ground floor bar with designated covered smoking area, first floor Venetian Chandelier Bar and a spacious heated and enclosed roof terrace, with a second covered smoking area.

Established in 1999, The Chapel Bar has grown from strength to strength by hosting high profile corporate events, media launches, wedding receptions, live gigs, clubbing events and private parties. Alex Foley, the proprietor, prides himself in keeping and exceptionally high standard, both of service and delicious homemade mediterranean cuisine.

* Main Bar: The ground floor bar is the heart and soul of The Chapel Bar.Comprising an intimate layout which provides a great atmosphere, catering for a full house as well as an intimate gathering. The state-of-the-art Turbosound sound system provides a clean unobtrusive soundtrack to your event and whether you decide to hire a DJ or simply connect your iPod, your favourite tunes will never have sounded so good. Its an ideal space for birthdays, wedding receptions, media presentations.

* The Chandelier bar: Probably the most sought after in the area. Work-do´s, lunches, meetings and seminars can all make excellent use of this breezy, bright space. A private bar means not having to leave the room, as do the private his and hers separate bathrooms. Decorated with a Venetian flair, the beautiful mirror and chandeliers provide a relaxing and sophisticated atmosphere.

* Terrace: The covered and heated roof terrace provides a charming escape from the hustle and bustle of inside. Airy and breezy yet protecte from London´s unpredictable weather by glass walls and retractable awnings, you can enjoy a relaxing cocktail alfresco, regardless of the weather. In winter, the 3 over head heaters will keep everyone toasty and warm. There is also a 2nd covered, heated area designated for smoking.
