When Bar Rumba opened its doors just over 15 year ago it immediately became a flagship venue, pioneering cutting edge music throughout its 15 year history. With a basement capacity of 455 and two bars it is the perfect size to create an intimate and yet club atmosphere. Bar Rumba has always been about the music. Not fancy cocktails, not salubrious surroundings, just an intense sound system and some of the world’s finest DJs and Musicians.

Eric Yu, owner and founder has always had a vision of a space that will cater to the real music heads and lead the way regarding cutting edge music trends.

It’s time for a much needed renaissance in London’s club scene. Bar Rumba is rethinking the idea of the super club. With The Cross, The Key, Canvas and Turnmills all gone, and the other ´super-clubs´ just not what they used to be, there is a gap in the market for a smaller, more intimate venue, with a soundsystem and DJ line-up that wouldn´t be out of place in the world´s finest and biggest clubs

The management take the type of crowd that comes to Bar Rumba as a priority. They want to get people in their who are passionate about the music they listen to, and who want to sample different tastes that DJ´s have to offer.This is a place for the dedicated..and educated music lover.
