The Annexe is an underground club with a potential and theoretically cutting edge music policy. It is clean, reasonable value and not a bad, if somewhat pared down, setting for a late night, let yourself go session.

Located beneath a doctors surgery just off Brixton Road, The Annexe is the sister club to Bar Rumba and retains the industrial look and underground feel of its predecessor at the site, Substation South. Essentially a one level, open plan layout, dressed in dark floors and the odd green wall, with a couple of metal grates to look through and hardly any furniture, the decor is at the more minimal end of the scale.

The club consists of a smallish bar and lounge area although the only lounging that you will be doing is on the few and far between bar stools and chairs. A reasonably sized dance floor makes up the rest of the club.

Whilst retaining an underground feel & with the emphasis on the music, there is a chilled lounge & bar area for those needing respite. With a 6am Liquor Licence Fri & Sat, 4am Sunday and reasonable door pricing means you have to at least try this venue..chance are you´ll like.
