Sitting subtly in the middle of W1´s Little Portland Street, Annex 3 could easily be missed from the outside and yet, when you walk in, you feel like a character in Alice in Wonderland.

It is impossible to adequately describe the interior of this stylish bar/restaurant; its owners are interior designers who have dedicated sections of the room to different eras; think ceiling wallpaper from the 1970s next to a VIP corner featuring gold leather seating and wall panels from the Dalai Lama´s London home. The centrepiece is an antique model of a retro fairground ride that lights up and swivels round inside a Perspex box. Intrigued? Well, why not pop in for a cocktail and a gawk? The decor does nothing to overshadow an extensive and delicious cocktail menu.

The Mix suggest the best time to head down is after work drinks or on a Fri or Sat night to listen to their world class DJs.

With regard to attire, anything goes. But be warned, this is a seriously stylish crowd
